The Tripple A Sides

Looking back it seems inevitable.

Like a burnt out light bulb or the rising of the sun. But before Graham Parsons and the Go Rounds came to be its members were scattered throughout the mitten state, dipping their hands into various musical pots: The rhythm section oozing fusion dance grooves in Kalamazoo (Max Dandy Slax), members of Toro and the National Guard harnessing the clang of country rock in Grand Rapids, and a young yooper with a versatile voice leading a successful folk/pop group through many trying incarnations.(Squeaky Clean Cretins)

What brought these tangents to a strong focal point was a shared love for the craft of songwriting.

A passion for capturing and conveying the emotions that capture each of us. Whether its with a light breath of a country waltz, or the heavy stomp of a swampy blues, the Go Rounds do just that.

“ And so with a great respect for the folkies, soul crooners, and all-night rockers of the past, the Go Rounds travel with a constant ear to the ground and listen for the hoofbeats of progress. ”
